Summer Fun

Griffin loves to climb up on the chair and eat at the table. He is so quick. This is his Montana outfit. He looks like he is ready to go pheasant hunting with Grandpa, well maybe gophers first. All he needs is his BB gun and an orange vest!

Backyard Balloons

These photo's were actually taken a couple weeks ago but I haven't had time to crop and upload!

Early one Saturday morning we woke up to find the sky filled with hot air balloons. Griffin loved it! We were lucky enough to have one land in our neighborhood, practically right out the back door!

This particular balloon reminds me of the Wizard of Oz, actually any hot air balloon does. Anyone want to hitch a ride to the Emerald City?

Happy Birthdays are in order!

While Grandma was here we celebrated her 50th birthday. She got these beautiful roses as a gift from my Dad's parents.

They smelled so good and made my kitchen look wonderful!



































Joe also celebrated his birthday this month! He turned 33, as you can tell by the candles on his cake!

Joe doesn't like to celebrate birthdays, except for Griffin's, but I felt we still needed to do a little something for him.

Griffin had such a fun time and he has learned to sing Happy Birthday! I've caught him singing it to himself several times! He really does enjoy singing!

Griffin was a little upset when there were no more flames. He calmed down once he got some cake!

We had a wonderful July 2008! My mom came to visit for three weeks and Griffin had so much fun with his "Ma"! We are looking forward to visiting with her again this fall!

Water Rats

Grandma has been in town all month and we have been enjoying her company. We've been to the water park twice!


Griffin really loves being in the water. He just jumps in and I am sure he would jump even if we were not there to catch him. We need to start thinking about swimming lessons for this kid!

Back to three column

So, as you can see I changed our layout again!!! I am just a three column blogger. I've still got to work on my index labels, and my widgets, but for now I am taking a break! I've got to start working on my slide show. Fun!

Back to life...

We made it safely back from our visit with Heather and Nate! We all had a wonderful time and as always it was hard to say goodbye.

Griffin made a new friend named George. He is a black cat. Every time he sees a black cat he points and says "George"? It's really cute. He is talking a lot more and he is watching everything Joe and I do. Lately instead of calling Joe, dad, he has been calling him Joe. Not sure why but its cute.

I will try and get our pictures uploaded and sorted so I can post pictures from the zoo, the dunes, Jackson Hole, and the upper Mesa Falls. We did all kinds of things in our four days away from home. Time just goes by too fast.

We made it to Idaho!

We are in Idaho visiting Heather and Nate! The drive took us six hours and Griffin did wonderful.

We had to let him out of his car seat for the last stretch. Joe made a little play area in the back for him. He loved playing with his trucks and stretching his legs.

Joe sprained his ankle this morning while he was out for his morning run. Luckily he was only a mile out so he only had to limp back a mile. He is groucy about it. Nate and Heather went to take Tank to the kennel and pick up Joe some cruches, and an ace bandage.

Today's big plans? Well I am going to TJ Maxx to take back some stuff, we are going to the zoo, and we are going to Craigo's for lunch.

Tomorrow Joe and I are going to the sand dune's! Heather and Nate are going to watch Griffin for a couple hours. It is going to be really run.
