Updates

We can hardly believe he is 1. He is looking more like a toddler every day.

For Griffin's birthday we went and got our family pictures taken at Sears. We only went to the Sears portrait studio b/c we had a gift certificate from a friend we needed to use by the 16th of December. This was not a good experience for any of us-

For Thanksgiving everyone we all meet at Heather and Nate's house. Here is a picture of us racing scooters at Nate's work.

Joe really wished we would have gone to Nate's work on the first day because he had so much fun riding the scooter!

LJ made the discovery of ear candles at the local natural foods market. So Joe, LJ, and I have been busy burning our ears. It is a lot of fun and afterwards your ear feels so much better.

Currently, we are busy getting ready for Christmas. All the Christmas shopping is done I just need to wrap and deliver gifts. I also need to finish making a couple.

We got most of our Christmas cards in the mail this week so they will most likely get to you after Christmas, but we were waiting for our family pictures so we could send everyone out an updated one. Hopefully ya'll will enjoy.

We wish you all Merry Christmas!

Griffin turned 11 months old on Sunday! Oh my goodness where has the time gone- Griffin also got a new tractor from Grandpa and he loves playing with it. Griffin loves anything with wheels and I mean anything!

And just in case you are wondering what Griffin likes to do for fun-he loves the dishwasher. He loves to pull out the bottom rack and then push it along the floor. Guess why???? It has wheels!

Halloween Pictures

Halloween was fun- Griffin was an alligator and in our opinion the cutest alligator around town and perhaps the most friendly.

We went trunk or treating with Grandpa and then we headed over to Ironwood and hung out with the Dan Wells family. Griffin loved all the kids coming over.

Summer Sun

This summer has been a busy one. Finally fall is here and we are getting ready to settle in. Sorry we haven't posted in awhile but here a few pictures of us at Priest Lake.Griffin absolutley loved the water.
Someone dropped the popcorn bowl and Griffin was in it no time. He loves popcorn and it was hard to pull him away.Griffin became a beach scavenger. He found this little tractor from another kids toy pile and played with all afternoon. He loves anything with wheels.
And here we all are. Enjoying yet another beautiful vacation day at Priest Lake.
The perfect size horse. He had such a good time rocking on this thing. Who knows where we found it. I think at a furniture store??Griffin's favorite past time is climbing up the stairs. Once he reaches the top he is so happy and he will usually clap or talk. He loves to be chased up the stairs by his dad. He hasn't learned how to come back down.

Fun times in July!

Joe, Griffin, and I went for a little hike together at the end of July. Joe wanted to find some snow to go snowboarding. This is the little snowman Griffin and I made before we left.
Joe having a fabulous time snowboarding at the end of July!

Griffin sure liked riding around in his little back pack. He did not like putting his feet on the cold snow. Finally, Griffin enjoys taking a bath. He used to scream every time we bathed him. We even tried taking showers with him but he hated it. Now he loves playing in the tub. He likes to try and pick up all the bubbles!

It's still an active blog dang it...

My Oh My how time flies. I've been meaning to update our little part of the internet and just haven't gotten around to it.

Griffin is growing so quick. He is getting ready to crawl and he really enjoys eating his baby food. His favorite is still carrots.

Recently we went on a trip with our friends to Mount Rushmore. On the way we went through Jewel Cave. Griffin did great! We made sure to dress him warm as the cave is only 50 degrees. He looked so cute in his little hat.
And there we are posing underneath the famous heads. It really is quite the site. Joe did a great job taking pictures.
A nice picture of George Washington for your viewing pleasure.

And we've been working in the yard! Joe rented a tractor so of course we all had to pose with Griffin on the tractor. I am proud to say we are growing our own grass. Joe has worked really hard and finally we are starting to see little green patches of grass! It's been a lot of hard work.

Joe has started his own painting business. He has named it "Brushfire Painting". So he is working day and night and Griffin and I are sad because we hardly ever see him.

And we are...

Well I haven't been doing so good with updating our blog...but we've been busy!

Joe finished school. Yeah! Actually he is still working on the submission of his final draft of his 50 plus page paper. Once that is done he is done for good. Currently he is working really hard on getting the yard in order. It looks great. He has been raking the yard, and recently got all the edging and rocks in. I will take post some pictures soon.

Griffin is getting his first tooth! He is a bit grumpy but still so happy. Everyone always has to stop us when we are out to tell us how cute he is. He is a flirt and is he not shy at all. He talks all the time, scoots and rolls and he loves to play with his toys.

I am busy trying to keep up with all my scrapbooking and paper craft projects. Now that Joe will be around I am hoping to get a few more things done.

We are looking forward to the summer and spending time with all of our family.
